1/2lb. ROTINI PASTA NOODLES(ABOUT 3 DRY ROTINIOR 1/2 OF A 1 POUND PACKAGE.
3 STALKS BROCCOLI, CUT INTO FLOWERETTES,STEMS PEELED AND SLICED)(ABOUT 3 CUPS)
2-3 MED CARROTS PEELED AND CUT INTO THIN SLICES
2 CLOVES GARLIC, PEELED AND FINELY CHOPPED OR 1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
1/2 CUP GRATED PARMESAN,ROMANO OR LOCATELLI CHEESE
OR GRATED LOW FAT MOZZARELLA
2TSP BUTTER, MARGARINE,OR OIL OR LOW FAT BUTTER,MARGARINE GROUND PEPPER TO TASTE

1. COOK PASTA ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS. DRAIN IN A COLANDER
2. STEM BROCCOLI AND CARROTS IN A COVERED POT WITH 2 INCHES OF WATER FOR 5 MINUTES UNTIL FORK CAN BE EASILY INSERTED
3. MIX COOKED BROCCOLI, CARROTS AND PASTA IN A BOWL. STIR IN THE CHEESE AND BUTTER OR MARGARINE. SEASON WITH PEPPER AND SALT!
